Michiganders love March. The temperatures start to rise, the plants start to wake up and peek through the soil, and we start to see a little more of the sun. —But there’s still a bit of a chill in the air and we’re still enjoying those amazing comfort foods we all enjoy. For this class, we’re putting a bit of an Irish spin on spring. Sarah and Rachel will be teaching us how to make an incredibly delicious, homey Shepherd’s Pie with sirloin and tender vegetables. Next to it will be a salad that’s almost entirely green—-a mix of beautiful lettuces, asparagus, spring peas, scallions with a wonderful fresh dressing. Of course, a fabulous Guinness Chocolate Cake is the most delicious way to celebrate Irish heritage.
May the road rise to meet you, and the wind be always at your back! (And may you find time in your calendar to be at this class.)
