The temps are slowly crawling down, the trees are just beginning to think about changing their colors, and we’ve planned a wonderful afternoon for you! We’ll be spending this Saturday celebrating the arrival of the season of cozy wool blankets, fireside dinners, and gracious gatherings. The store is overflowing with fall treats, and autumn décor-- all the things you need to get your home ready for this beautiful, colorful, memory-making season.

Joining us will be Erin Hamilton from The Mushroom Conservatory.  She’s a wealth of information about mushrooms and she’s a Michigan gal that has developed some incredible mushroom growing kits. You’ll enjoy learning about and tasting some gourmet mushrooms- pink OR blue oyster—or maybe even some lion’s mane.  She’ll be bringing the kits and some harvested mushrooms that you can purchase. Chef Steven will be cooking up some Woodland Mushroom soup and will have recipes for you to take home.

We’ll be offering you a sip of simmered cider, some delicious bites to sample (our Pecan Pie in a jar, for one!), and showing off some of our favorite fall items--- from the most divine caramel apple kits, to our wool blankets, pumpkin butter, flavored maple syrups, and festive fall and Halloween décor.
