Tinned Treasures with Chef Steven

We just love the latest trend for appetizer boards! What the folks on the Iberian Peninsula have enjoyed for years is now becoming trendy in the states—Tinned seafood—-and it’s tremendous! It’s not your run-of-the-mill canned tuna, but a lovely assortment of high-quality treasures from the sea. Mussels, mackerel, even octopus…spiced, smoked or sauced just right. You serve it on an appetizer or snack board, right in its tin, accompanied by lots of pickled things, lemons, olives, crackers, and crusty bread. A seafood lover’s dream!

Join us on the 14th for a taste and sip a little wine while you shop. Chef Steven will show you simple ways to serve these treasures from the sea. They’re wonderful for serving on Christmas but also fun to sneak into your favorite foodie’s stocking!

Both of the companies providing these delectable treats were founded by women and their seafood is responsibly sourced.
